The image shown is experimentation with digital decals which are transferd onto plates. The photographic images are manipulated through photoshop in a contemporary interpretation of the traditional blue and white Delft style. The work is referencing the domestic setting and the association to the table setting, traditionally juxtaposed with the linen tablecloth. The historical use of blue and white imagery expressed complex narratives and it is this element that I aim to explore within this artists response.
