Playing about with the images, Photoshop inspired me to look at my own practice in a new way. I decided to incorporate images into my work. I experimented with layering photographic images with natural materials in an attempt to introduce new technology into my work. The experimental pieces worked individually, but my aim was to create a large piece made of smaller pieces. I wasn’t happy with the finished result, as the pieces didn’t link together in a unified way because the images were too different. Working with Photoshop has given me a new insight into my work, which I can use in the future.
